I thought more than once about turing around and going home, I was tired, creatively drained, and just didnt feel like making the trip to the westside, plus the rain was falling on my windshield and I just knew it was going to be canceled. Luckilly, I talked myself out of skipping out and decided to suck it up and attend Faythe’s Shoot. I really wanted to see all of my friends and I knew the location was going to be awesome, not to mention all of the amazing hair and makeup artists. I was very glad I went, when I first got there it was raining so we started shooting inside a garage. I wasn’t very happy at first because of the low light but finally the sun decided to peek thru and the rain stopped. My group dashed out to the far right side of the junk yard to an old beat up semi container and as soon as I got my camera ready to shoot, guess what? It started raining again, so we dashed into the container and instead of focusing on the negatives I decided to make it a positive. I grabbed one of the beautiful models Elizabeth and started shooting her in the container. The lighting was beautiful and so was she. At some point the rain decided to quit for most of the evening and we were able to shoot the whole junk yard. All of the models were beautiful and did a great job as always. I want to give a huge and special thanks to Faythe for planning this every month. If you are needing your makeup done for a special event she’s the lady you need to call.

Country Glamour {Part Three}

February 23, 2010

I am finally wrapping up my Country Glamour session from a few week’s ago with Elle Photography. If you miss Part One & Part Two you can click on the links to read about the session before you view the final images.

You have heard all about Lauren Rossi but I am going to introduce the gent you have seen and will see throughout this post. His name is Mr. David Bembury Engel. David is an aspiring male model located in Jacksonville, Fl. If you would like to book David you can contact him at motoracer971@gmail.com.

This is one of my favorite shots on this post. I love the converses and her adorable pointed muddy feet.

I love nature and everything that comes along with it, including the bright and beautiful sun in these pictures.

Me and Alex having a little fun in the reflection of his shades :)
I hope you have enjoyed every single image from this day… I know I had a great time and I want to give a big thanks once again to everyone that participated in this fun little country shoot. :)

Country Glamour {Part Two}

February 23, 2010

I shared a little bit of a previous session with Lauren on a earlier post but what I didn’t share with you was that Lauren wasn’t the only beautiful model with us that day. In fact, there was another sweet & darling little girl with us that day.

Meet Baby Ella,

Now Lauren, don’t get upset you are still number one in my book for awesome adult models, but Ella was just adorable. She made my heart smile extra big that day. She was dressed to impress, rocking her hot pink frilly tutu and adorable orange and pink stripped leggings, not to mention those pinch-able rosy red cheeks.
What is cuter than a baby surrounded by hot pink and pearls??
Her smiling while being surrounded by hot pink and pearls. Now how can you not look at this and smile right back at her :)

Lauren was such a trooper posing however she was asked and with whatever she was asked. Although I don’t think she minded playing mommy for a few adorable shots. Lauren has a natural talent behind the camera which I have seen and experienced but what I didn’t know about Lauren was her natural ability and motherly instincts towards someone else’s child. Lauren picked Ella up as if she was a mother herself. Theres no doubt in my mind that when Lauren get’s ready she will make an amazing mom to a really cute “fashionista” baby.

I hope you enjoyed that sweet little girl as much as I did, now I am off to finish editing part 3 off this session. Stay posted for some super hot images of David  & Lauren and some more of Lauren doing what she does best!

I know some of you are single, but can you just imagine being married to the man of your dreams, the father of your children, someone you love and adore and only being able to see him a few times a year? Jessica like so many others in the United States has to deal with this type of distance everyday, thank God for SKYPE.  Jessica’s husband works as a contractor in Iraq and he’s been away for quite some time now. He will be flying home on February 20th for a short visit and I know she is tickled pink to see him. Jessica wanted to have something to surprise her hubby with when he got home so she contacted me and asked me to help her spice up his homecoming. She was looking to do a very natural and sweet style with an edgy city girl twist and I knew just the right location to achieve that look, Downtown Jacksonville. Downtown is one of my favorite locations for many reasons, one being you never run out of awesome backdrops, every 2 feet is something else you can use, I love how unlimited the options are in downtown Jax. Monday afternoon I headed out to meet Jessica at her work first so I could style her hair and makeup before the session. When I asked her what look she was aiming for, she answered saying it was all up to me, now I normally advise my clients to be careful with those words, they might soon realize my style is a bit out there, but with Jessica’s look I chose to go with a down to earth simple style with lots of body. When it came to makeup I went with a classic pink lip and a slight smoke around the eyes to enhance her natural eye color, you will see towards the end of the session I traded that sweet pink lip for a sexy hot momma red lip :) I enjoyed working with Jessica and let me tell you she caught a good bit of attention from some of the men in downtown, we heard horns honking, people yelling, and lots of whistling. I think her hubby with be more than pleased with the images I was able to get of her, I hope you enjoy them as much as he will.

Who doesn’t like the classic high heel shot? :)
